He thinks that each cask should tell its own unique tale, so he travels to Scotland and Ireland to \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ehand-select single casks \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003efrom the inventories of the world’s greatest distilleries. Then he custom bottles each one with its own story. How many bottles, you ask? Glenlossie is famous for using\u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e purifier pipes on their stills\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e, which makes their whisky \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003edelicate and distinctly oily\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e. This single-cask expression is a rare bottling for the distillery, though, as they mostly produce Whisky for Diageo's blends. Aged in a refill Bourbon hogshead, there were only\u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e 277 bottles\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e of this delicate Speysider produced in total.
