The turn of the century brought a series of acquisitions, mergers, and buy-out. It has been closed twice for major renovations and repairs, but has otherwise been in \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003econtinuous operation\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e. Formerly owned by Diageo, it became a part of the \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eBacardi portfolio\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e when they acquired John Dewer \u0026amp; Sons in 2014.\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\nThere are three Spirits in the Royal Brackla line-up — and \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003ethe\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003etwelve year-old\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e is where they begin. Twelve years of primary aging does a world of good for this Single Malt. But that is not enough. Brackla finishes their Single Malts in \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003epremium, first-fill, Oloroso Sherry casks\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e. And Brackla has been in such demand for blends like Dewers that they are a lesser-known brand among Single Malts.
