Aeonium 'Sunburst' ('Tricolor') is grown for its striking variegated green, yellow, and creamy white foliage that may develop rosy-pink edges. Large rosettes on short branching stalks resemble flowers and brightens any landscape. Cone-shaped clusters of pale yellow star-shaped flowers rise above the foliage in spring. Full sun only in coastal or cooler climates. Provide partial shade in hot climates. Dormancy period can occur in hot summer months; reduce water during this time. Prune to remove the stem after it has flowered. Looks great in the California landscape planted in mass, in containers, or planted with other succulents of contrasting colors for maximum effect in the garden. Low maintenance. Low water requirements. High impact.
