Greensand Ridge Apple Brandy

Greensand Ridge is an award-winning, carbon neutral distillery located in a beautifully converted Victorian coach house in the heart of Kent. Will, owner and distiller, specialises in Gins, Rums and Fruit Brandies, making spirits with provenance, using sustainable practices and turning surplus produce from local growers into fine spirits.

Greensand’s Apple Brandy has unique floral character. Will and team press, ferment and distil surplus dessert apples from nearby growers to create a delicate apple spirit. We were lucky enough to witness first-hand the aromas given off by this process, and it left us wanting more!

On the nose expect delicate green apple and the blossom from a warm spring day. Wonderfully perfumed. The palate is smooth with a nod to the ex-bourbon, vanilla, crisp apple with added spice. A sweet and warming finish awaits. Not over powering.

Serving Suggestion:

You could argue that you don’t need to mess with this, so straight up on the rocks is a great shout. However, if you’re looking for a party stopper try adding some English Sparkling Wine and you’ve got yourself a great party serve.
