Pan-Pacific Gin - Farallon Gin

Pan-Pacific Gin takes inspiration from flavours found on both sides of the Pacific Ocean blends them together harmoniously. At the core of this expression sits two star botanicals - yuzu and schisandra berries, with other botanicals singing along in support. On the label you can see the gin's maker, Brad Plummer of Farallon Gin in Northern California, taking delivery of the two feature botanicals in the traditional way. That tufted puffin looks completely oblivious of the whole situation, but that's puffins for you.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Aromas of earthy heather roots, smooth juniper and citrus zest lead as some cassia and black pepper spice linger.

Taste: Tart lime peel and orange zest, with angelica and vanilla pods among savoury juniper and hint of earthy herbs.
