Patrón is one of the most famous Tequila brands in the world. Patrón was created by 7 Leguas Distillery in Atotonilco El Alto, Jalisco. Then it was sold to St. Maarten Spirits who eventually built a new distillery just for the brand — the Hacienda Patrón Distillery in Jalisco — expanding capacity and building the brand into a global powerhouse. In 2018, Patrón was sold to Bacardi — the world’s largest privately-held Spirits company — where the range has been expanded into dozens of tasty variants.

Anyone can grind coffee beans into alcohol and dump in a bunch of sugar. Patrón had something very different in mind.

Patrón XO Cafe is NOT your run-of-the-mill Coffee Liqueur. It’s made with premium Patrón Tequila — 100% Weber Blue agave from the highlands of Jalisco just like all of their fine Tequilas. Then it’s infused with Arabica coffee beans. That’s it. Not sweet, just two of the best beverage ingredients in the world in wedded liquid bliss. It’s like Mexican cold-pressed coffee at 35% ABV. Perfect to sip neatly chilled on its own or as the foundation for a craft cocktail.
