Single Cask Bathtub Gin - Invergordon - Pedro Ximénez & Oloroso Hybrid Cask

Scotch whisky that's aged or finished in interesting casks is a beautiful thing, but why should whisky have all the fun - what about gin?

This ultra-small batch of Ableforth's famous Bathtub Gin is extra special: it was aged for 20 months in a PX-Oloroso Sherry hybrid cask that also previously held 23 year old Invergordon whisky for several months. A symphony of crisp dryness and indulgent sweet spice. Sip on its own or over ice.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Honey and heather with a breakfast-y zing of grapefruit and orange.

Taste: Subtle notes of dried cherry, rolled oats, and flapjack. Hints of chelsea bun and spiced gingerbread, before drier woody notes.

Finish: Buttery tarte aux cerise.
