You see, most, if not all of them, sought comfort and inspiration from “The Water of Life” (Whiskey). The relaxing characteristics of Whiskey helped many of them overcome said writer's block and produce inspired works of poetry, prose, and plays. Writer’s Tears is Walsh Whiskey's salute to these great Irish writers.

The 2021 vintage Writer's Tears Cask Strength Whiskey is the 11th edition of this super-premium, super-acclaimed range of expressions. It is a rare vatting of aged Single Pot Still and Single Malt Whiskeys, both triple-distilled, natural non-chill filtered, and aged in Bourbon barrels—as is the proud Irish tradition. Bottled at 54.2% ABV (108.4 proof), which is still quite rare today, each of the limited 6,000 bottles is individually numbered and signed by Writers’ Tears creator and Walsh Whiskey Co-founder, Bernard Walsh, and comes packaged in a nifty wooden display frame.
